1 Dead and 2 Hurt in Federal Way Multi-Vehicle Accident
FEDERAL WAY, WA (February 5, 2020) – A person died and two others sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Pacific Highway.
The officers came to the scene at around 9:30 a.m., February 3, in the 37300 block of Pacific Highway South. The crash involved a semi, a sedan, and a small SUV.
According to reports, the semi traveled north when it slowed for traffic and lost control. The semi drove across the center line and hit a Honda Pilot head-on. The Honda’s 50-year-old female driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Meanwhile, another vehicle went into an embankment. Responders took the semi driver and the vehicle’s driver to a hospital for treatment of injuries. Reports also revealed that the crash injured a puppy.
The incident shut down the roadway for multiple hours during the investigation.
