1 Dead and 2 Hurt in Fresno Car Accident on Avenue 432
FRESNO, CA (March 3, 2020) – A man died and two people sustained injuries in a car accident on Avenue 32 on March 2 in Tulare County.
The California Highway Patrol revealed that the incident occurred at about 7:15 a.m. on Avenue 432 and Road 120, right near where the Tulare County line meets Fresno County.
CHP Visalia also reported that a Chevy van driver traveled west on Avenue 432. However, he wasn’t able to stop at a stop sign and collided with a northbound Mazda on Road 120. The impact sent the Mazda to struck a power pole.
Authorities pronounced the Mazda driver dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the two men inside the van were flown to a local hospital.
According to investigators, it’s still unclear whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
