1 Dead and 2 Hurt in Clinton Car Accident
CLINTON, WA (December 11, 2019) – A driver died while two female 4-year-olds sustained injuries in a car accident on Bob Galbreath Road.
The incident occurred at about 6:00 p.m. when the westbound vehicle on Bob Galbreath Road went off the road, Trooper Heather Axtman with the WSP revealed. The vehicle went down a 200-foot embankment and hit several trees. As a result, the driver died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the two 4-year-old girls in the backseat unbuckled themselves and went outside the car. They headed to the side of the road and another passing car noticed the children and reported to 911.
Responders took the girls to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
