Man Killed, Another Injured in Oakdale Multi-Vehicle Crash on Albers Road
OAKDALE, CA (September 16, 2019) — A multi-vehicle crash on Albers Road left one man dead and another person injured Friday morning.
The Oakdale police said the accident occurred north of Patterson Road at around 6:18 a.m. It involved three vehicles.
A vehicle was headed north on Albers Road when it hit another vehicle. It then lost control and went into the southbound lane. That is where it struck a third vehicle going in the opposite direction.
A man died at the scene of the crash. Another person was transported to the hospital with major injuries.
As per the police, the occupants of the vehicle that was first hit did not sustain any injuries.
The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department and Oakdale Police are investigating the crash. They urge anyone with information to call 209-869-7162.
