CHP Investigates Fatal Solo Vehicle Crash on Minto Way and Sage Road in Hemet

Hemet, CA (December 9, 2022) – Friday afternoon, one person died, and another sustained injuries in a crash on Minto Way and Sage Road.

Hemet’s fatal solo vehicle crash happened around 3:50 p.m. on December 9. 

CHP said a Lincoln Navigator was traveling at an unknown speed when the driver evidently lost control, causing the SUV to overturn alongside Minto.

Riverside County Fire Department said they extricated two people from the vehicle. 

One person died at the scene, while the other one was taken to a regional trauma center for treatment of major injuries.

Further investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
