Gila Bend, AZ (June 15, 2021) – Tuesday morning, one person died, and one other sustained injuries after a plane crash near the Gila Bend Airport.
 
The deadly plane crash in Gila Bend happened on Tuesday, June 15.
 
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, there were two people on board when it went down near the runway of the airport.
 
EMS declared one person dead on the crash scene and the ejected person was airlifted to a hospital.
 
The FAA is investigating the circumstances of the crash.
