Arbutus Wood Dies after Crash on 67th Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (March 5, 2023) – Sunday morning, 38-year-old Arbutus Wood died, and one woman sustained injuries in a crash on 67th Avenue.

The fatal crash on 67th Avenue in Phoenix happened around 7:45 a.m. on March 5 on Broadway Road.

Phoenix Police said the collision involved three vehicles. Reportedly, the white car was driving southbound on 67th Avenue and entered the intersection at Broadway Road at a green light. 

A second brown vehicle drove through a red light at the intersection and hit the white car. The vehicles then hit a truck in the intersection waiting to make a left turn.

The two women in the white car were transported to the hospital but one of them later died.

Further investigation into this crash is ongoing.
