1 Killed, 1 Injured in Auto Accident on Corral Hollow Road [Tracy, CA]

1 Pronounced Dead and 1 Hospitalized after Tracy Car Crash near Linne Road

 
TRACY, CA (April 7, 2020) – Early Friday morning, one victim was killed and another was injured in an auto accident on Corral Hollow Road.
 
Authorities received a report of the incident around 2:15 a.m., on April 3. Dispatchers arrived on Corral Hollow Road just south of Linne Road.
 
Officers reportedly turned their lights and sirens on to pull over a speeding four-door sedan on 580 Freeway. Then, the suspect failed to stop and attempted to flee.
 
After some time, the driver of the sedan lost control and collided with a dump truck. As a result, an occupant inside the sedan died upon impact.
 
Meanwhile, a second occupant inside the sedan suffered serious injuries.
 
Medics transported the injured person to San Joaquin General Hospital for further treatment. Authorities later confirmed that they were listed in critical condition.
 
The surrounding area on Corral Hollow Road was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
 
Officers are currently conducting an ongoing investigation due to limited information. Once available, more details will be given.
