1 Killed, 1 Critical in Head-On Crash on Naco Perrin Boulevard [San Antonio, TX]

Passenger Dies after  Head-On Crash on Naco Perrin Boulevard in San Antonio

San Antonio, TX (January 27, 2023) – Friday morning, one person died, and one other sustained critical injuries in a crash on Naco Perrin Boulevard. 

The fatal head-on crash in San Antonio happened before 7 a.m. in the 3900 block of Naco Perrin Boulevard, near Bulverde Road and Wurzbach Parkway.

Police said a white van was traveling southbound on Bulverde Road. The driver drifted left, jumped a concrete median, and drove the wrong way into the northbound lanes of Naco Perrin.

The van then struck a big rig that was traveling north on Naco Perrin.

A front-seat male passenger in the van died at the crash scene. EMS took the driver of the van to the hospital in critical condition.

Further investigation to determine the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
