1 Killed, 1 Badly Injured in Rollover Crash on Figueroa Mountain Road [LOS OLIVOS, CA]

Car Overturns on Figueroa Mountain Road in Los Olivos Killing the Driver and Injuring the Passenger

 
LOS OLIVOS, CA (June 18, 2019) – One person was killed and another one was badly injured following a rollover crash late Tuesday afternoon in Los Olivos.
 
The crash took place around 5:35 p.m., in the 4100 block of Figueroa Mountain Road at the Chamberlin Ranch. Dispatchers arrived just north of Highway 154 shortly after.
 
Preliminary reports indicated a gray 1998 Toyota Corolla went off the roadway and landed about 30 feet off the side.
 
The unidentified driver was later pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Furthermore, another passenger also suffered major injuries as a result of the impact. Paramedics transported the victim to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital via air ambulance for further treatment.
 
The California Highway Patrol was on scene for the investigation.
