1 Killed, 1 Airlifted in Two-Car Crash at Bear Valley Road and Balsam Avenue [VICTORVILLE, CA]

Deadly 2-Car Crash on Bear Valley Road in Victorville

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 1, 2019) – One person was killed and another one was airlifted following a two-car crash early Sunday morning in Victorville.
 
The crash happened around 12:38 a.m. at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Balsam Avenue.
 
According to an initial report, a white 2016 Audi A5 and a red 2011 Hyundai Tucson collided.
 
As a result, the Hyundai caught fire and sustained major front-end damage. The Audi had major damage to the driver side.
 
The driver of the Audi was ejected from the car and died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics airlifted the Hyundai driver to an out of area trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Bear Valley Road between Cypress and Balsam Avenues was closed for several hours while the investigation was being conducted.
