1 Hospitalized after Gardena Workplace Accident
GARDENA, CA (April 22, 2020) – Last March 17, a person sustained injuries in a workplace accident on 135th Street.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the incident just before 7:45 a.m., in the 1638 West 135th Street. Firefighters later discovered that the person’s wrist was trapped in the machine.
Firefighters were able to free the victim within 10 minutes. Around 8:01 a.m., emergency crews transported the patient to a nearby hospital for further examination.
The investigation of the workplace accident on 135th Street is currently being handled by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
