S-Curve Closed after Car Collides with Motorcycle near Russell Boulevard
WINTERS, CA (April 19, 2019) – An unidentified victim was hospitalized early Friday evening following a two-vehicle collision on County Road 93A.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Russell Boulevard, at about 5:00 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a Volkswagen Jetta collided with a motorcycle.
Emergency responders transported one person to a nearby hospital with major injuries. Further updates on the victim’s current condition were not provided. Meanwhile, the CHP temporarily closed the S-curve in both directions for an hour.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the events that led to the collision. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
