Driver Hospitalized after Big Rigs Crash on Highway 58 in Bakersfield

Bakersfield, CA (May 19, 2022) – Thursday noon, one driver sustained injuries in a crash between two big rigs on Highway 58.

The crash happened at around 12:30 p.m. on May 19,  east of Broome Road near Tehachapi.

CHP’s Traffic Incident Information Page reported that the one big rig was loaded with wine, and parked on the shoulder when it was hit by another big rig loaded with broccoli.

One of the drivers sustained moderate injuries.
