Woman Hospitalized after Phoenix Train Crash
PHOENIX, AZ (November 24, 2019) – A woman sustained injuries after a train crash involving a light rail near 50th Street on November 20.
The incident shut down Washington Street but has since reopened.
The train crash occurred after 7:00 a.m. near 50th Street and Washington Street. Responders took the woman to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, Valley Metro revealed that the crash affected the train service in the area.
The authorities are still investigating the collision.
