FALLBROOK, CA (September 26, 2021) – Saturday morning, a person suffered injuries in a semi crash on Interstate 15 and State Route 76.
 
The crash between a semi-truck and trailer and a red sedan happened at 5:57 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on southbound Interstate 15, south of State Route 76.
 
NCFPD John Choi said that reports stated that the sedan side-swiped the semi. “The patient, a young adult male, self-extricated and was taken to Palomar via ground ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries.”
 
Both cars stopped on the righthand shoulder. Also, a fire engine blocked lane #4 since a portion of the car impeded into the lane.
 
Meanwhile, another witness said that “a small vehicle ran into the back of it [semi].”
 
Some reports also said that the driver may also have been drinking. However, this information hasn’t been confirmed.
