Injuries Reported in Cajon Pass Auto Accident on Interstate 15 and Oak Hill Road

 
CAJON PASS, CA (January 16, 2023) – Sunday morning, a person suffered injuries in a rear-end crash on Interstate 15 and Oak Hill Road.
 
The incident occurred at around 6:12 a.m. on northbound Interstate 5, about two miles before the Oak Hill Road exit.
 
When the authorities arrived, they found a disabled blue GMC Envoy that had major rear-end damage. Also, they located an overturned silver Toyota FJ Cruiser SUV with major front-end damage.
 
Then, rescue crews called an ambulance to the scene. Afterward, the ground ambulance transported one person to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the other people involved sustained only minor injuries.
 
Officers revealed that the silver Toyota FJ Cruiser struck the disabled vehicle and landed on its side in the #1 lane. Then, the impact pushed the disabled blue GMC Envoy into the #3 lane.
 
Also, the crash scattered debris all over the traffic lanes. Moreover, authorities shut down four of the five lanes for about 30 minutes for the cleanup.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
