1 Hurt in Santa Rosa Pedestrian Accident

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (February 4, 2020) – A person sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Guerneville Road on January 31.
 
Reports indicate that the incident happened just before 9:30 p.m., on Guerneville Road near Cleveland Avenue. First responders arrived to the area shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
 
The impact left the male pedestrian with major head injuries. However, he was expected to survive. Medics say he remained in serious but stable condition at an area hospital for further treatment.
 
Moreover, the pedestrian walked across Guerneville Road and entered the westbound lanes. The pedestrian then jumped in front of the van where he was struck.
 
The crash happened outside a Men’s Wearhouse store and shut down Guerneville Road for almost an hour.
