Pedestrian Hospitalized after Crash on Fairfield Henderson in Eureka
Eureka, CA (December 1, 2020) – Tuesday afternoon, a pedestrian suffered a head injury after being struck by a car on Fairfield Henderson at Central.
The crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. on December 1. Dispatched officers arrived shortly after.
Witnesses said the victim used the wheelchair as a walker but not in the crosswalk when struck by the blue pickup.
Meanwhile, the older woman driving the pickup remained at the scene.
Emergency crews then transported the victim to a hospital with a head injury.
No other information is immediately available. Further investigation is on-going.
