1 Hospitalized in Pasadena 7-Vehicle Accident on 210 Freeway and Rosemead Boulevard

 
PASADENA, CA (February 1, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, a person sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on the 210 Freeway.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 3:30 p.m.
 
It occurred on the eastbound 210 Freeway, at Rosemead Boulevard.
 
Reports revealed that an SUV being driven recklessly struck multiple vehicles. Then, it crashed into a center divider and rolled over.
 
As a result, responders extricated one person from the SUV. Then, paramedics transported the patient to a hospital with serious injuries.
 
Also, a Sig Alert was issued by CHP for all eastbound lanes. A helicopter was used to capture photos of the incident.
 
CHP canceled the Sig Alert shortly after 5:30 p.m.
 
The incident is under investigation.
