1 Hospitalized Following Four-Vehicle Crash in Fontana
FONTANA, CA (July 30, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident at Beech Avenue and Cherry Avenue injured one person in Fontana Friday night.
The Fontana Police Department and the San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the incident past 9:00 p.m.
The crash involved four vehicles. The authorities said that the drivers gave conflicting stories. However, reports indicated that at least two vehicles were westbound on Beech Avenue during the collision.
A black Ford Explorer and a gray Chrysler 300 collided on westbound Beech Avenue, east of Cherry Avenue. On the other hand, a beige Ford Explorer and a silver Volvo crashed at the intersection of Beech Avenue and Cherry Avenue.
Emergency responders treated one person with non-life-threatening injuries. They subsequently transported the patient to a hospital.
The other people involved complained of pain but declined medical treatment at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Fontana police.
