ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA (October 28, 2019) – A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on 580 Freeway.
 
The incident on October 17 occurred on westbound 580 Freeway, east of the Altamont Pass.
 
According to the CHP, they received reports of the crash near Grant Line Road at 4:51 a.m. In addition, the crash involved two other vehicles.
 
Several lanes shut down while fire crews aided the injured. Authorities also issued a Sig-alert at 6:38 a.m. However, the alert ended at 7:52 a.m.
