1 Hurt and 1 Arrested in Santa Rosa Car Crash on Montgomery Drive
SANTA ROSA, CA (February 5, 2020) – A person later identified as 69-year-old Jesse Esparza was arrested after a DUI car crash on Montgomery Drive.
The authorities believed that Esparza’s silver Nissan sedan veered into oncoming traffic around 8:45 p.m., near Spring Lake. Esparza then struck a westbound black Honda sedan.
The collision sent the Honda backward into an embankment. Meanwhile, the Santa Rosa Fire Department helped free the driver from the vehicle. They then transported the victim to a local hospital with injuries.
Esparza did not suffer any injury but he showed signs of alcohol intoxication. Police arrested Esparza on suspicion of driving under the influence and causing an injury.
