BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 4, 2024) – Saturday night, a startling auto accident on Highway 166 and Pentland Road injured 1 person.

The incident occurred at about 10:00 p.m. on Highway 166 and Pentland Road.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a Jeep overturned on its side. They quickly closed the road and requested an emergency airlift to transport at least one person to a nearby hospital. 

According to the CHP website, the occupants were trapped inside the vehicle and calling for help. Everyone in the Jeep sustained serious injuries.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
