Traffic Stalled after El Cajon Auto Accident on Claydelle Avenue and Lexington Avenue
EL CAJON, CA (March 26, 2023) – Saturday, 1 person suffered injuries in a hazardous crash on Claydelle Avenue and Lexington Avenue in El Cajon.
The incident happened just after 2:00 p.m. on Claydelle Avenue and Lexington Avenue.
According to reports, the crash involved a car and a pool maintenance truck,
Heartland Fire & Rescue came to the crash scene to a hazardous materials incident.
Meanwhile, the Heartland Fire & Rescue battalion chief confirmed that they issued a shelter-in-place.
Then, responders transported the car’s driver to Grossmont Hospital.
Moreover, officers found five gallons of pool acid and two gallons of chlorine spilled in the back of the truck.
Then, the authorities confirmed that there were no chemicals or spills in the sewage systems or drains.
