1 Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 15 [Hesperia, CA]

1 Person Hospitalized After Crash on Interstate 15 in Hesperia

Hesperia, CA (September 29, 2024) – A three-vehicle crash on Interstate 15, about a mile past the Oak Hill Road exit, sent one person to the hospital on Sunday evening, September 29, 2024. 

The crash occurred around 6:36 p.m. and involved a dark-colored sedan that drifted into the lane split area, collided with sand barrels, and rolled over, leaving the car upside down. 

The impact scattered the sand barrels across all traffic lanes. 

A red or maroon Dodge Ram pickup truck struck the center divider k-rail, and a third vehicle, whose make and model remain unknown, was also involved.

Firefighters responded quickly, and one individual was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries remains unclear.

 After the accident, traffic lanes were closed but reopened by 8:40 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) Victorville Office is investigating the crash, and more details will be shared once the CHP’s preliminary report is released.
