Injuries Reported in Austin Auto Accident on Guadalupe Street near University of Texas
AUSTIN, TX (March 15, 2023) – Monday night, a person suffered injuries in the Hole in the Wall crash on Guadalupe Street near University of Texas.
The incident happened when a car rammed into Hole in the Wall on Guadalupe Street, near the University of Texas at Austin campus.
The Austin Police Department confirmed that the crash involved two vehicles. Due to the impact, one vehicle struck the popular venue as well as a couple of individuals.
After the incident, both drivers stayed at the scene and have been cooperative with the investigation.
Meanwhile, the manager of Hole in the Wall confirmed that the car struck an employee as it veered off the road. They added that the employee is expected to be OK.
Moreover, officers noted that the incident happened while there were live performances for South by Southwest (SXSW).
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
