Man Sustains Head Injury after Hit-And-Run Crash on Ashby Avenue in Berkeley
Berkeley, CA (November 26, 2020) – Thursday night, a man sustained a head injury after a hit-and-run crash on Ashby Avenue.
The Berkeley crash happened shortly before 8:45 p.m. on November 26.
Berkeley Police reported an apparent road race between two vehicles heading north on San Pablo Avenue and ran a red light at Ashby Avenue.
Moreover, one of those drivers struck two westbound vehicles, which spun the suspect vehicle around.
Then the suspect got out of that vehicle, jumped into the other car that had been northbound on San Pablo, and fled.
As a result, one of those drivers was uninjured, but the other was taken to Highland Hospital for medical treatment. He suffered a head injury.
Police continue the investigation to determine the suspect and the vehicle.
