Crash in Fair Oaks Involving Car and Work Truck Injures 1 Person

 
FAIR OAKS (August 14, 209) – A crash near Fair Oaks Boulevard and New York Avenue sent one person to a hospital Monday morning.
 
The authorities said a work pickup truck and a sedan collided head-on near the intersection.
 
Medics transported the injured party to the hospital. The Sacramento Metro Fire crews tended to the occupants of the truck.
 
The crash and emergency response blocked eastbound Fair Oaks Boulevard. The roadway has since reopened.
 
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
