Injuries Reported in Skagit County Auto Accident on State Route 11 near Bow Hill Road

SKAGIT COUNTY, WA (October 10, 2024) – Tuesday night, a person suffered injuries in a crippling traffic crash on State Route 11 near Bow Hill Road.

The incident happened at about 8:17 p.m. on State Route 11 near Bow Hill Road.

The Washington State Patrol reported that a vehicle heading west on Bow Hill Road failed to yield as it approached SR 11, causing a collision with a northbound vehicle on SR 11.

The first vehicle ended up blocking the southbound lanes of SR 11, while the second vehicle came to rest on the southbound shoulder. 

One driver sustained injuries and was transported to Harborview Medical Center, though the extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
