PALM DESERT, CA (July 1, 2021) – Wednesday morning, a person sustained injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Washington Street and Country Club Drive.
 
According to Riverside County Fire Department, the incident happened at around 5:40 a.m. Moreover, it occurred in the area of Washington Street and Country Club Drive.
 
Reports revealed that the crash involved three vehicles. Also, the incident caused a chemical spill in the area.
 
Furthermore, responders transported one person to a hospital with minor injuries.
 
Meanwhile, crews responded to the scene to clean up the unspecified chemicals that spilled on the roadway.
 
Also, officials closed both directions of County Club Drive between Harris Lane and Washington Street to give way to the clean-up. All lanes have long since reopened.
