1 Hurt in Seattle Pedestrian Accident on University Way and 55th Street
SEATTLE, WA (February 27, 2022) – Friday night, a person sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on University Way and 55th Street.
The incident happened at about 8:30 p.m. when a vehicle struck a pedestrian in a crosswalk. After the crash on University Way NE and NE 55th Street, the involved vehicle fled the scene.
When responders arrived, they transported the injured patient to the hospital. According to reports, the pedestrian suffered serious injuries, including several fractured bones.
Meanwhile, investigators described the vehicle as a dark-colored 2004-2006 Scion XB. The vehicle likely has damage to the front bumper and hood.
