SANTA CLARITA, CA (October 18, 2022) – Monday night, a person suffered injuries in a pursuit crash near Soledad Canyon Road and Whites Canyon Road.
 
The incident happened at about 6:00 p.m. when a man struck several cars near Soledad Canyon Road and Whites Canyon Road. Moreover, the crash happened as the driver ran away from the Sheriff’s deputies in pursuit.
 
As the pursuit transpired, a sheriff’s deputy was involved in a crash with a patrol car. As a result, one person was transported to the hospital.
 
“The pursuit was canceled because he was driving too fast,” reports said. “He left the car he was in, which was a Honda Pilot, then got into a Jetta.”
 
After the crash, the Honda Pilot ended up in front of Sam’s Club on Carl Boyer Drive and has since been towed. Meanwhile, the deputies looked for the vehicle to identify the driver.
 
However, as of Monday 7:30 p.m., the suspect remained at large.
