One Person Hospitalized after Crash on Third Avenue in Hyde Park

Hyde Park, CA (March 3, 2023) -Friday afternoon, one person sustained injuries in a crash on Third Avenue and Slauson Avenue. 

The crash on Third Avenue in Hyde Park happened before 4:45 p.m. on March 3.

LAPD said that the suspect may have been wanted for driving under the influence and a pursuit is said to have started.

A brief pursuit came to an abrupt end after the suspect slammed into a home in Hyde Park. 

One person was hospitalized as a result of the crash, though it was not clear if it was an occupant of the building, the vehicle, or a pedestrian.

No additional information is immediately available.
