Male Pedestrian Critical after Crash on Bear Valley Road and Mall Boulevard in Victorville
Victorville, CA (March 1, 2023) – Early Tuesday morning, a 44-year-old male pedestrian sustained critical injuries in a crash on Bear Valley Road and Mall Boulevard.
The crash on Bear Valley Road in Victorville happened around 1:08 a.m. on February 28.
Authorities said the pedestrian was crossing Bear Valley Road outside a crosswalk when he was struck by a Toyota Prius traveling eastbound.
EMS rushed the pedestrian to a trauma center suffering from major injuries to his lower extremities.
The 30-year-old female driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and cooperated with the officers. She showed no signs of impairment.
