Injuries in Barstow Auto Accident on Interstate 40 and East Main Street
BARSTOW, CA (January 10, 2023) – Tuesday last week, a person suffered injuries in a fiery crash on Interstate 40 and East Main Street.
The incident happened just after 11;00 p.m. on Interstate 40 and East Main Street.
According to some witnesses, a vehicle left the I-40 bridge and crashed underneath the overpass on East Main Street.
When Barstow Fire arrived, they determined that three people occupied the vehicle at the time of the accident. All of them miraculously survived the crash before their arrival.
Meanwhile, one “patient deteriorated rapidly and CPR was initiated,” says Local 2325 (the union that represents Barstow firefighters). Thus, they provided Advanced Life Support during transport. Then, the patient regained their ability to breathe as they arrived at a local hospital.
Officers confirmed that the patient sustained a broken neck as a result of the accident.
At this time, additional details about the incident remained unavailable. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
