TUCSON, AZ (April 21, 2022) – Wednesday, a person suffered injuries in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 19 and Sahuarita Road.
The incident occurred on southbound Interstate 19, south of Sahuarita Road.
According to reports, the crash involved a tractor-trailer and two SUVs.
The Green Valley Fire Department and RuralMetro Fire Department both came to the scene. Also, a medical helicopter responded.
Reports confirmed that one passenger was trapped in the wreckage. However, law enforcement freed that person and transported the patient to a hospital.
