1 Hospitalized in Butte County Traffic Accident on Highway 99 and Meridian Road
BUTTE COUNTY, CA (August 11, 2022) – Wednesday afternoon, a person sustained injuries in a rollover crash on Highway 99 and Meridian Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 4:25 p.m. on Highway 99 and Meridian Road.
Reports revealed that a car collided with a white SUV that turned left into the path of the car. Then, the northbound car continued driving and crashed into a utility pole. Afterward, it went through a wire fence and rolled over to its roof.
Moreover, responders transported the car driver to a hospital with minor injuries. Meanwhile, the SUV driver was not hurt in the crash.
Furthermore, the incident closed the northbound lane of Highway 99 but has long since reopened.
Meanwhile, the collision remained under investigation.
