SANTA BARBARA, CA (August 17, 2022) – Monday night, a person suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on Highway 154 and Foothill Road.
 
The incident occurred just before 10:00 p.m. on westbound Highway 154, south of Foothill Boulevard.
 
According to reports, the crash involved a small SUV. When the SUV struck the pedestrian, that pedestrian went underneath the vehicle and sustained moderate injuries.
 
Thus, responders took the patient via AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. At this time, the identity of the injured remains unknown.
 
Furthermore, the crash shut down the westbound lanes of the highway.
 
Also, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
