Injuries Reported in San Diego Skateboard Accident on Guizot Street and Orchard Avenue

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 7, 2022) – Monday night, a person suffered injuries in a skateboard crash on Guizot Street and Orchard Avenue.
 
The incident occurred at around 10:20 p.m. when the 28-year-old skateboard rider traveled at “a high rate of speed.” As the skateboarder headed south on Guizot Street, he rode through the sign at the intersection with Orchard Avenue.
 
Eventually, a 27-year-old man in a westbound 2013 Toyota Prius struck the skateboard rider on Orchard Avenue.
 
As a result, the skateboarder sustained an open fracture to his left arm.
 
Also, the authorities do not believe that alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
