Valencia Two-Vehicle Accident on 5 Freeway and Valencia Boulevard Ejects 1
VALENCIA, CA (January 23, 2022) – Saturday morning, a person suffered injuries in a traffic crash on 5 Freeway and Valencia Boulevard.
The incident occurred at about 9:45 a.m. on 5 Freeway and Valencia Boulevard.
According to reports, a black Honda sedan and a red Volkswagen collided on the northbound 5 Freeway at Valencia Boulevard, said Miguel Ornelas. Moreover, Ornelas is a dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“We got the call about a two-vehicle crash and transported one person,” added Ornelas.
According to the California Highway Patrol, one vehicle went off the freeway and into an embankment.
Moreover, when the units arrived, they found one person who was ejected from the Honda sedan. Then, they took that person to the hospital.
According to reports, the patient has been driving recklessly prior to the crash.
Also, the incident shut down the northbound Valencia off-ramp from the northbound 5 Freeway.
