East Village, CA (May 6, 2022) – On Monday, one person sustained injuries in a crash on Tony Gwynn Drive.

The crash in East Village happened at around 12:30 a.m. on May 6.

San Diego Police said a car crashed into the back of a parked box truck on Tony Gwynn Drive, in front of Petco Park.

Two people were in the car and one of them was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
