1 Hurt in Elma Car Accident
ELMA, WA (January 14, 2019) – A 24-year-old male Hoquiam resident sustained injuries and faces multiple charges following a car accident on Highway 8 on January 11.
The 2003 blue Honda Civic male driver was traveling on Heise Road at Highway 8 around 6:00 p.m. when he was unable to yield the right of way and crashed with a 1998 white Toyota Corolla that was traveling east on Highway 8.
The 23-year-old male Toyota driver from Raymond and a 23-year-old female passenger from Elma were reportedly unharmed. The Honda was totally damaged.
Meanwhile, the Honda driver was detained on Grays Harbor Jail and faces charges of hit and run, driving under the influence, obstructing justice, and driving while license suspended.
