1 Injured in Car Accident on Ray Road and Val Vista [Gilbert, AZ]

1 Hospitalized after Gilbert Car Accident

 
GILBERT, AZ (November 28, 2019) – A person sustained injuries in a car accident on Ray Road on November 24.
 
According to Dani Covey with the Gilbert Police Department, the driver made a left turn from Ray Road onto Val Vista in front of a driver heading north on Val Vista, who then crashed into them.
 
The first initial report from the firefighters stated that six people sustained injuries. However, the police clarified on Monday that the incident involved only three people and only one passenger from the left-turning car went to the hospital.
 
It’s still unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
