1 Injured in Car Accident on Miller Street [Santa Maria, CA]

One Hospitalized after Car Accident in Santa Maria

 
SANTA MARIA, CA (February 19, 2019) – On Tuesday at 11:00 AM, one person was injured in a car collision on Miller Street near Fesler Street.
 
According to the Santa Maria Police Department, a black GMC SUV was traveling southbound on Miller Street. Soon after, the vehicle turned in front of a green Ford pickup truck which was driving northbound. The two vehicles then collided.
 
First responders arrived at the scene and transported the pickup driver to a nearby hospital. The victim suffered minor injuries. No other injuries were reported in the accident.
 
Due to the collision on Miller Street, the surrounding area was closed off for a brief time for cleanup and preliminary investigation. Authorities have since reopened the street. No further details have been released regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident at this time.
