Jeep Driver Hospitalized after a DUI Crash on Highway 29 in Napa
Napa, CA (August 4, 2021) – Wednesday morning, one person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle DUI crash on Highway 29.
Subsequently, police arrested the 22-year-old Aidet Hernandez of Napa on suspicion of causing injury by driving under the influence.
Reportedly, the crash happened at 12:05 a.m. on August 4 at the intersection of Highways 29 and 12/121.
Napa Police and CHP responded and located a 2016 Ford Mustang and a Jeep Liberty.
Police said the Ford headed south on 29 when it ran a red light and broadsided the Jeep as it was turning left from eastbound 12/121 onto northbound 29.
As a result, the jeep driver suffered a forearm injury.
EMS then transported Hernandez to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center and then booked her into the Napa County jail.
