1 Hurt and 1 Detained in Riverside Car Accident
RIVERSIDE, CA (April 8, 2019) – A driver sustained injuries while authorities arrested one person who led police to a brief pursuit in Riverside on April 2.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. when an officer attempted to stop a stolen vehicle. Officer Ryan Railsback added that the 20-year-old Riverside driver, Adal Cuellar Martinez, escaped. He then collided to a van a few distance away at 3rd and Vine streets.
Martinez tried to escape on foot, but authorities quickly detained him. Meanwhile, the van driver suffered injuries.
Furthermore, authorities booked Martinez on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle, felony evading and hit and run.
