SYLMAR, CA (December 23, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, a person suffered injuries in an auto accident on Golden State Freeway and Antelope Freeway.
 
The crash involving an overturned semi-truck occurred just before 3:00 p.m. Moreover, it happened on the overpass from the southbound side of the Golden State Freeway to the northbound Antelope Valley Freeway.
 
According to reports, the incident sent some chunks of concrete onto the Golden State Freeway below. As a result, few cars possibly sustained damages.
 
Meanwhile, responders took one person to a hospital in unknown conditions.
 
Also, the incident led to the lanes closure for around two hours during the investigation. Thus, officers diverted the traffic onto the southbound and northbound truck lanes.
 
After 5:05 p.m., all lanes of the freeway had been reopened.
