1 Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision on 101 Freeway [Camarillo, CA]

One Hospitalized after Car Accident in Camarillo

 
CAMARILLO, CA (February 6, 2019) – On Wednesday afternoon around 3:48 PM, one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision on 101 Freeway near the Flynn Road off-ramp.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved at least two vehicles. The cause of the accident is currently unknown as the investigation is ongoing.
 
First responders arrived at the scene and transported a victim, who suffered minor injuries, to a nearby hospital. The status of the victim’s current medical condition has not yet been disclosed.
 
The freeway’s far right lane was opened for traffic, while the left and middle lanes were closed off for a brief time for cleanup and preliminary investigation. The lanes have since reopened around 4:30 PM. No further details have been disclosed to the public.
