Driver Arrested in Suspected Hit-and-Run Collision near Grand Avenue
OAKLAND, CA (March 7, 2019) – Authorities arrested a suspected hit-and-run driver early Thursday morning following a crash on Highway 580.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened near Grand Avenue, shortly after 1:30 AM.
Emergency crews transported the victim to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Meanwhile, the suspect did not sustain injuries in the crash.
Authorities continue to work on identifying possible contributing factors and determining the cause of the collision.
